1. 136 (I) Inf Bde Gp Porter Coy will be recruiting 600 Civ labours (Porters) on a contractual

(temporary) basis for duration of 179:-

(a) Porters - 500

(b) Mates and other civilians - 50

(c) Safaiwala - 10

(d) JCB Operator/Mason - 40

Total 600

2. Eligibility Criteria:-

(a) Only Male citizen of India.

(b) Between 18 to 40 years of age as on 01 Jun 2022.

(c) Medically/Physically fit and should not be suffering from any contagious disease.

(d) In possession of Aadhar Card/ Ration Card/ Voter Card/Certificate from village

Panchayat.

(e) Should not have undergone any imprisonment (Local police station certificate to

this effect to be brought by the individual at the time of recruitment).

3. Registration of porters will be done online through https://himachalhillportercompany.org.

The online registration portal is open for 10 days from publication date of advertisement.

4. Place of Test/Interview - Averipatti, Rampur bushar. Distt- Kullu, (HP).

5. Time & Date of Interview - 0800 Hrs to 1400 Hrs from 01 Jun 2022 to 04 Jun 2022..

6. Documents required to be brought by the individual:-

(a) Aadhaar Card in original alongwith three photocopies duly attested.

(b) Bank Pass Book (SBI/PNB Only) in original alongwith two photocopies.

(c) No Jan Dhan Bank Account is admissible.

(d) Domicile cert

(e) Mobile No (Own & NOK).

(f) Single Photo (colour) - 06

(g) Jt photo with NOK (Colour) - 04

(h) Character certificate issued by a Gazetted Officer on or after 10 Jan 2022.

(j) Police verification certificate from nearest police station in original issued not earlier than 01 Feb 2022.

7. Quarantine Period.The porters will be quarantined under the army arrangement.

However, the quarantine pd will not be included in the duration of employment.

8. Entitlements:

(i) Mate/ Barber/ Washermen/

Cook/Tailor/ EqptRepairer/

Carpenter/ Mason/ Plumber

(c) Accommodation : While on duty, individual will be provided field type/

tented accommodation, depending upon availability of the same.

(d) Conveyance: Conveyance shall be provided as follows:-

(i) From place of recruitment to the place of duty and subsequent moves on duty.

(ii) For move of urgent cases for medical treatment.

(iii) On completion of engagement, free conveyance from place of duty to

place of recruitment.

(e) Ration: Individual will be provided with free rations at the scale of

combatant soldiers, when serving in operational/field/modified field areas.

(f) Leave : In addition to one day leave after six working days, individual will

be entitled to three national holidays. In view of Covid-19 pandemic no outstation leave

will be permitted for the period of employment.

(g) Medical Facilities: Individual will be provided with free medical treatment to the

extent feasible for self only in Military and Civil Hospitals, for injuries, ailments/disease

sustained by the individual while at work.

(h) Discipline: During the period of contract, the individual will be subject to Army

act and Army Rules. If his performance and behaviour found to be unsatisfactory, his

contract will be terminated and Individual will be blacklisted for next three years.

(e) COVID-19. Candidates to carry COVID-19 Vaccination certificate.

(f) Traders like Mason, Artesian Construction, Operators, Carpenters, Electrician,

Plumber, Welder, fitter and individuals with knowledge of construction work will be

preferred.
